Wood Home is a brand of SL&S AG Sp. z o.o. Our team brings 18 years of experience in delivering homes in Poland and Europe. Homes are made from certified timber in controlled factory conditions, then assembled on site.
We work in one continuous process: analysis of the plot and your needs, design, factory prefabrication, assembly and finishing. Scope and price are agreed before production starts and materials are secured in advance, so the budget from the contract is the budget that holds.
Vapour-open partitions, low energy demand and durability comparable to masonry come from the technology described further down this page.

General technology principles
Year-round timber homes use components prepared indoors. Assembly of the structure and roof can take 3–6 days, depending on the design and conditions. Services, finishing and inspections follow separately.
Energy efficiency and thermal parameters
- Low heat transfer coefficient: The wall variant in the Wood Home offer has a U-value of 0.16 W/(m²K). The performance of each building is defined by its design.
- Phase shift and summer comfort: STEICOflex 036 has a specific heat capacity of 2100 J/(kg·K). Wood fibres store heat and delay its passage. Phase shift is calculated for the whole assembly; summer comfort also needs appropriate shading, glazing and ventilation.
- Temperature damping and acoustics: Temperature amplitude damping depends on the full wall assembly. Fibrous insulation and linings support acoustic comfort, which also depends on joints, windows and doors.
Building airtightness (Blower Door Test) and systems
Continuous membranes, a separate service cavity and sealed window joints limit air leakage. A blower-door test checks the actual building. Ventilation and heat-pump systems are selected for the project.
Business guarantees and logistical comfort
Scope, schedule and payment terms are defined in the contract. Factory prefabrication reduces weather exposure during production. The structure carries a 30-year warranty subject to contractual terms.
A masonry design can be a starting point for adaptation. Changes, performance and timing follow a review of the documentation.
